The something else could be SE having overloaded servers, or making me download the game from a different continent. There is a problem with the download, It's normal to get lower than advertised speeds but here we're talking nearly 1% of my real speed, not my ISP at fault since everything else works correctly. I never said SE was limiting my speeds, I was asking if there was a speed cap setting which most other game/MMO/Whatever launchers have, not a crazy scheme i'm inventing here. Sorry I fail to understand how it's that slow so are we talking 1 Mb per second or 1 Mb per minute and no-one wants to be held accountable for these extremely slow speeds, seriously 1 Mb per minute is what is is offering to me to download the Vortex setup file on a broadband network this is acceptable to you, in this day and age? If the file is on their site that you need to download off of then how is it not their problem if it takes an 'hour+' to download off their servers? So please explain to me how if they "claim" 2 MB to 1 Mb speeds then why is it downloading at less then 1 Mb per minute, every single time I try to download the vortex file? ![]()
